The Off-Broadway smash hit “My big gay italian wedding” hits Los Angeles with a sold out run

Released this year at the box office in Italy as “Puoi Baciare lo Sposo”, the Off-Broadway Smash Hit written by Anthony Wilkinson has just seen a complete sold out run in Los Angeles at the Actors Company. Directed by Francesco Piotti and Gianfranco Terrin, it was brought to Los Angeles by Italia Spettacolo and italian producer Fausto Petronzio in collaboration with "Istituto Italiano di Cultura Los Angeles".

The Plot: Anthony Pinnunziato (Gianfranco Terrin), a gay Italian-American from a large chaotic family, wishes to marry his boyfriend Andrew (Artur Ignatenko) in a traditional Italian ceremony, but Anthony's overbearing mother (Linda Nile) won't give her blessing unless Andrew's estranged mother also gives her blessing and the ceremony is performed by a priest (Carlo Carere).
