This summer, take a romantic tour of Italy at the AAA Five Diamond Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The Italian-inspired seasonal display at the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens incorporates hanging lanterns, manicured gardens, Venetian chandeliers, cypress trees, lemons topiaries and enormous tiered fountains. Created by designer Ed Libby and more than 125 people on Bellagio’s Horticulture team, the dreamy display of Italian beauty is aptly entitled “That’s Amoré.”
Among the display, a canopy of lemon tree branches guides visitors down a path to a four-tiered, eight-foot fountain evoking the popular engagement spot Da Paolino Restaurant in Capri. At the center, a 22-foot, vine-covered fountain pays tribute to the site of many wedding celebrations, The Fontana dell’Ovato of Villa d’Este in Tivoli. Whimsical lemons made from 1,400 bright yellow and white flowers surround the serene scene.
