The San Gennaro Feast is back after an LVMPD sting operation shut it down in May. A vendor was busted selling alcohol to a minor, so its license was pulled before it could even open for the May edition of the bi-annual event. It’s now partnered with Station Casinos to help check ID’s and keep things safe.
They have moved the location of the feast to Boulder Station where President Anthony Palmisano said it’s better because there’s plenty of free parking and it’s on pavement, not dirt, as it has been in years past. “Italian sausage and peppers are probably number one and zeppoles," said Palmisano. The feast is a smorgasbord for foodies. “We’ve got tons of pasta,” he added. And, not just Italian food, even though the celebration is rooted in Naples history.
