Monday, May 20, 2019 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Italian Cultural Institute, 500 N Michigan Ave, Suite 1450, Chicago, IL. On the occasion of the 2nd edition of FARE CINEMA*, Creative and Digital Art Director and Production Designer Tiziana Amicuzi will give a lecture entitled, " Still Image Frame: Playing the Space, Inventing Worlds. Cinema, Performing Arts and New Media Scenography." The lecture will be given in Italian with simultaneous English translation by Dr. Lucia Marchi, DePaul University.
The decisive contribution of digital innovations in the evolution of scenography has determined the birth of new formats both in television and film. The new forms of invention of space linked to multimedia aesthetics have modified the scenographer's job. Even the simple use of mobile phones has changed and modified the perception of the viewer.
